Please complete our application form and we'll make sure it reaches the volunteer coordinators who run the project (or projects!) you are interested in. We also ask that you complete our Diversity & Inclusion form at the end - it will be anonymous and helps us monitor how diverse we are (and what we can do to improve). YMCA DownsLink Group uses the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) to assess applicants’ suitability for positions of trust. You are required to give details of any “unspent” convictions as defined in the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Please list below.

General Data Protection Regulation: Please note that it is our policy that all recruitment documents, including application forms for unsuccessful applicants, are kept in secure conditions for a period of 6 months, after which they will be securely destroyed. If you are successful in your application, in accordance with GDPR, we will keep your personal data whilst you are volunteering with us, and for 6 years after you have left. This is in order to manage the performance of our contract with you. (Article 6, GDPR)
