Youth Advice Centre (YAC) Brighton is moving — but we’re not closing.
We’re sharing an important update about the Youth Advice Centre (YAC) Brighton. Over the coming months, YAC will be moving out of its current building — but our service remains open, and support for young people will continue throughout the transition.
Why are we moving?
We’re moving to create a more welcoming, accessible and modern environment that continues to meet the needs of young people. This is a positive step in shaping the future of the service.
What’s happening?
We’re finalising a new venue and will confirm the address as soon as everything is in place. All our support and advice services will continue as normal, and you can still contact us in the same ways you do now.
Your appointments, workers and support plans will stay the same. During the move there may be short periods where we offer some appointments online, but if anything changes for you, we’ll let you know directly.
Services continuing
- Support & advice: continuing as normal
- Food Market: continuing as normal
- Family mediation: continues at YAC on Thursdays and is operating from Reed House, Monday–Wednesday: 9:30am – 5:30pm.
- Housing advice: continuing, with updates shared directly with young people where needed.
What young people need to know
- YAC is not closing
- Your appointments and workers stay the same
- Support continues before, during and after the move
- We will share the new venue as soon as it’s confirmed.
