Crawley Youth Advice Centre
Minimum 6-12 month period
Minimum 3 hours per week

This is a new and exciting role currently being developed and will involve working with the Youth Advice Centre (YAC) team based at Crawley Foyer in West Green. The YAC in Crawley is a project aiming to become the front door for young people to access mental health and emotional wellbeing support in Crawley and surrounding areas.

We are looking for volunteers who would like to build their experience working with digital engagement and social media, whilst working within a busy youth charity support service. The candidate would benefit from having a good knowledge of social media platforms and have an interest in issues affecting young people, especially mental health and emotional wellbeing. The aim of the role will be to promote, develop and maintain our online presence in order to maximise our impact and to promote our services, partnerships and campaigns as widely as possible to the local community.

Volunteers will be offered a thorough induction, as well as training and support throughout their time with YMCA DLG. There will also be additional opportunities to get involved with wider YMCA DLG activities and build experience with the wider organisation.
