At YMCA DownsLink Group, we are entering an important new chapter and we are looking for two exceptional leaders to help shape what comes next.
Executive Team
We are recruiting a Director of Supported Housing and a Director of Mental Health and Advice to join our Executive Team at a pivotal moment for our organisation.
Over recent years, we have worked hard to strengthen our foundations – financially, operationally and culturally. Now, we are building on that stability to focus on growth, greater influence and, most importantly, deepening the impact we have for children and young people across Sussex and Surrey.
Demand for our services continues to rise. More young people are facing homelessness, mental health challenges and complex disadvantage, while the wider system is under increasing pressure. Against this backdrop, the importance of safe, high-quality supported housing – with robust, safeguarding – has never been greater. Alongside this, our mental health, wellbeing and advice services play a vital role in ensuring children and young people feel heard, supported and able to shape their futures.
New strategy
Our new five-year strategy, Expanding our reach, deepening our impact, sets out an ambitious goal: to support 50% more children and young people by 2031. These two leadership roles will be central to achieving that ambition, bringing the strategic oversight, operational expertise and collaborative leadership needed to guide our next phase.
Together, these appointments will strengthen our Executive Team, enhance collaboration across services, and ensure we continue to deliver high-quality, joined-up support.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a values-led organisation at a defining moment – helping to shape services that make a lasting difference to young people’s lives.
