Dialogue have provided the counselling service at Longhill High School for 22 years. The service is very well established, and the school counsellor works in partnership with school Leads and other professionals in the school.

We are seeking candidates who value team working, believe in making a difference to lives of the children and young people they work with, and who can bring passion and professionalism to this post.

Applicants must be at least 2 years post qualified counsellors/therapists and BACP Registered or Accredited, or registered with another recognised professional body (e.g. HPC, UKCP). Applicants must also be experienced in counselling 11-18 year olds, be able to offer creative interventions such as art and play. Experience of providing counselling in a secondary school will be advantageous.

This post requires providing clinical supervision to two Dialogue volunteer counsellors (who may be trainees) placed in the school; therefore applicants must be sufficiently experienced to provide clinical supervision and/or hold a clinical supervision qualification.
