REBOOT Administration and Project Support Officer

£20,060 per annum (pro-rata)
£12,036 per annum (actual)

The REBOOT programme offers a personalised, strengths-based, one-to-one support package for young people across Sussex who have been identified as being at risk of engaging in serious violence and gang behaviour.

The project will provide a range of opportunities from experiencing supportive adult and peer relationships which focus on healthy behaviours to develop a sense of belonging, self-worth and opportunities to make a positive contribution to their community. With the support of a youth coach the young person will identify which activities would be most beneficial in helping them overcome some of the issues they are facing.

The Project Support Officer will be the first point of contact in to the REBOOT project for referring professionals. They will assess and triage referrals, provide administrative support to the Project Manager including collating and processing of data for reports. This role is for 2 or 3 days a week and location can be negotiated across the YMCA DLG sites. This post is currently fixed term to the end of March 2020, with the possibility of extension depending on funding.

The Project Support Officer should have good organisational skills and be motivated, reliable and adaptable. We are looking for someone with an excellent telephone manner and a personable and friendly manner. You will need to have good literacy and numeracy skills and be able to use your own initiative and work as part of a team to be highly organised, and possess excellent IT and communication skills. You will be familiar with the Continuum of Need and have a good understanding of issues facing young people in Sussex.
