Project Worker – Specialist Transitional Housing

£19,795 per annum

We are recruiting a Project Worker to work alongside our wider housing team to provide effective day to day management of our specialist move on accommodation for young people leaving care.

The role includes delivering one to one sessions and groups work sessions to assist residents to develop personally and socially in order that they grow in confidence and move towards independence.

This role will be split between 2 projects, delivering support to 4 young people in Hastings and up to 10 Unaccompanied Asylum Seekers in the Hastings and Eastbourne areas. You will engage them in effective support planning and tailored goals, alongside their social workers / personal advisors, so they can work towards positive outcomes.

You must have experience working with young people, particularly those considered vulnerable or with multiple and complex needs.

You should have the ability to engage, motivate, inspire and empower young people; particularly working within a Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE) or Trauma Informed approach.

The role involves working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, with the flexibility of working in the evenings or weekends, to meet the needs of the individual young person.
