Maintenance Supervisor
Crawley or Hove, with travel across East & West Sussex and Surrey
37.5 hours per week
£27,185 per annum

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and self-motivated person to oversee the workflow and maintain our flats, offices, communal and commercially let areas across YMCA DLG sites in Sussex and Surrey.

The Maintenance Supervisor will organise day to day tasks and ensure that the Maintenance Officers understand their duties or delegated tasks, and that these are completed in a timely and safe manner. The postholder will line manage a team of up to 7 staff.

You must have good experience of maintenance skills, including carpentry and day to day plumbing. There will be aspects of lone working and working as a team.

You will need to have enthusiasm and a genuine desire to help support the young people we work with. You will need an understanding of the issues faced by vulnerable young people, and the ability to deal with sometimes challenging behavioural situations

You must be capable of carrying out the physical aspects of the job and it is essential you hold a current, valid driving licence.
