This is a fantastic opportunity to support YMCA DownsLink Group to transform the lives of vulnerable young people across Sussex and Surrey. The Head of Fundraising is a key role in helping us to achieve our mission by growing fundraised income from individuals, organisations and other funding bodies.
We are an ambitious organisation, seeking to make a big difference to the lives of vulnerable young people in our community and we are now looking for a dedicated, fundraising professional to support our fundraising ambitions.
We are looking for an individual who is target driven, enjoys making connections and building relationships and who has natural commercial acumen and a positive, creative energy.
We are looking for a passionate, driven individual who wants to make a real difference. Someone who is brave enough to sometimes take the more challenging path because this is the right path towards real change.
This person will enjoy the challenge of creating shape where there may be ambiguity and creating a sense of possibility across an organisation.
Demonstrable experience of growing fundraised income across all fundraising streams including specific experience of individual and high net worth income fundraising. Must have very strong, persuasive, communication skills, able to influence audiences at all different levels of seniority and experience.
