An exciting opportunity has arisen for Engagement Volunteers to join our YMCA DownsLink Group Supported Housing Projects. Help young people  achieve their full potential  by supporting them to gain skills  for life, learning and employment.
You will need a specific interest or skill you would like to share with young people; such as gardening, cooking, art, drama, singing, sports, CV writing etc. or, a willingness to support general group activities. As well as patience, resilience, empathy and tolerance, a sense of humour is essential!
Plus, you will get to gain new skills, training & experience through our extensive training programme. If you think you can encourage young people to get involved and participate and have an interest in helping young people to build their confidence (whilst feeling valued & supported) then apply today!
