Positive Placements is an award-winning mentoring service for young people aged 16 – 25.
You will be working with an experienced team and established project within the community. We are looking for a dynamic coordinator who understands the challenges young people face in the local community and who live in supported housing.
• Experience in recruiting, training and supporting Volunteers
• Understanding/experience of young people who live in supported housing/vulnerable young people in the community and the challenges they face
• Able to work well in a team as well as taking own initiative
• Experience of working within a community and networking
If you have experience of recruiting, training and supporting volunteers, understand and want to support young people, can meet KPI’s, work alongside other YMCA colleagues and in partnership the wider community then this is the role for you.
