Communities Manager
Full Time – 37.5 hours a week
Fixed term – Maternity Cover
£32,510 per annum

YMCA Guildford Y Centre and YMCA Guildford Foyer provide accommodation for over 100 young people. At the Y Centre we provide accommodation for students from local colleges and at the Guildford Foyer we provide supported accommodation homes for young people.

We are looking for a Communities Manager to oversee the day to day operation of our accommodation offer to these young people as maternity cover for the permanent employee.

The Communities Manager will be responsible for offering both a positive student experience and support services to more vulnerable residents who are working towards independent living. They will oversee the administration of accounts and work to generate income whilst managing relationships with external organisations and supervising and motivating housing staff.

The Communities Manager will be skilled at building and facilitating relationships, both internally and externally to the project. This will include meeting service targets within budget and reporting on progress towards measurable objectives. We are seeking someone who can provide day to day leadership with experience of multi- disciplinary work and delivering information to stakeholders at a range of levels.

The position requires evening and weekend work, as well working flexibly as part of an out of hours on-call rota.
